The Parliamentary candidate of the NDC for the Lawra Constituency, Hon. Bede A. Ziedeng donated Veronica buckets, soap and tissue papers to the Muslim community in Lawra in the Lawra constituency of the Upper West Region as part of moves to help fight the deadly novel coronavirus eating up the world at the fastest pace.
The parliamentary candidate also, former Upper West Regional Minister seized the opportunity and sensitised citizens of the community appealing to them to adhere to all the laid down protocols including washing of hands and the application of hand sanitizers as this serves as the surest way to preventing one from contracting the novel virus.
The presentation was made at the Lawra Muslim Community Central Mosque. Similar donation was also made at Bagri, a community in the Lawra constituency with same education and sensitisation of the people on the fight against coronavirus.
Hon. Bede A. Ziedeng did the donation with the support of constituency Executives of the NDC and other party functionaries in the constituency. Beneficiaries of the donation thanked the aspiring Member of Parliament for the honour done them and wished him the best of luck in the upcoming 2020 general elections.
